Rhodes spoke for the first time since the shocking events of The Elimination Chamber

Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes isn't one to back down from a fight. Rhodes, sporting a black eye, delivered a passionate speech on WWE SmackDown after the shocking conclusion of The Elimination Chamber.

Cena's heel turn and alignment with The Rock was one of sports' hottest stories last week. Rhodes fell victim to Cena's betrayal, but it's only fueling him ahead of their WrestleMania 41 title match. On Friday, Rhodes told everyone exactly how he felt about Cena's actions.

The blue brand also welcomed back Randy Orton and Jade Cargill, featured two title matches and crowned top contenders for the WWE tag team championships.

If Cena wants some, he can come get some

Rhodes reflected on his 4-year-old daughter asking what happened to "Papa's face." The undisputed WWE champion suffered a legitimate black eye after being attacked by Cena, The Rock and Travis Scott at Elimination Chamber. Rhodes told his daughter that he ran into a wall but would one day tell her the truth. The truth is his hero, a man whose identity is tied to the phrase "Never give up," gave up.

Rhodes remembered driving Cena from town to town for two years, learning what he could from his hero. That hero let him down. Cena believes his bulletproof, the last of a dying breed, but Rhodes says it's untrue. That's because Rhodes has the WWE universe behind him. The champion hoisted the belt over his head. He stamped his impassioned speech with one of Cena's signature remarks, "You want some? Come get some!"

Rhodes delivered a terrific promo, but following the Elimination Chamber is tough. Cena's heel turn was among the most shocking moments in WWE history. Friday's promo didn't need to reach that emotional high, but this feud is stuck in place without Cena or The Rock present. Rhodes can only do so much on the microphone without opposition. Hopefully, Cena and The Rock can get more involved in the following weeks, even if it's pre-taped vignettes. Grade: B+

• Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) def. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) and Los Garza (Angel and Berto) via pinfall after Prince hit a backslide on Sabin. Pretty Deadly are now No. 1 contenders for the WWE tag team titles.
• Naomi, wearing a neck brace, admitted to injuring Jade Cargill. Bianca Belair watched as Cargill beat up Naomi.
• Braun Strowman def. Solo Sikoa via disqualification after Tama Tonga attacked Strowman. Post match, Strowman chokeslammed Jacob Fatu off an equipment box through a table. Fatu was back to his feet by the time Strowman left.
• Women's United States Championship -- Chelsea Green (c) def. Michin via pinfall to retain the title after Alba Fyre hit Michin with a Canadian Destoyer onto steel chairs. Post match, Fyre saluted Green.
• Drew McIntyre def. Jimmy Uso via pinfall after hitting a Claymore Kick. Post match, Priest attacked McIntyre.
• United States Championship -- LA Knight def. Shinsuke Nakamura (c) via pinfall to win the title after hitting a BFT on a steel chair. A second referee arrived to count the pin after the first official was blinded by poison mist.
