Big 12 Media Days are upon us, which means Mike Gundy sporting a mullet, tons of coach speak, questions about expansion, Baylor punishment and more.

It also means mascots dancing in a hotel ballroom while the media laughs and records them with cell phones. A tradition like no other.

There are a few mascots missing here, but 7 out of 10 is a strong representation, so I'm going to go ahead and rank them from worst to best based on their dancing abilities because it's the offseason and I have nothing better to do.

7. Pistol Pete (Oklahoma State): Pete's not here for your hippity-hop music. He does a little shoulder roll and then walks away, realizing he can't compete with Super Frog and Bevo. Call him back when you get to the line dancing portion of the evening. He will destroy the Boot Scootin' Boogie.

6. Willie the Wildcat (Kansas State): Willie heeds the advice of Alex Hitchens and stays within himself. Just stepping it side-to-side with a little arm work, trying not to embarrass himself. He clearly does not know how to do the jerk and isn't going to try. Knowing your limits is good, but he still grades out poorly.

5. Raider Red (Texas Tech): Raider Red is pretty much me on the dance floor. He briefly tries to dance, realizes that he can't and just jumps around as the hype man for the ones that actually can dance. This guy is crucial to the success of any dance floor. Shoutout to Raider Red.

4. Mountaineer (West Virginia): I don't simply reward effort. I appreciate the Mountaineer's riverdance style, but he's not a better dancer than the other three. This is a situation of a mediocre dancer getting gassed up by people who can actually dance, which is the stage that proceeds becoming the Raider Red of the dance floor. You think you can dance, people enjoy watching you try so you do it, but eventually you come to the self-realization that you can't and you stop trying to take the spotlight.

3. Bruiser (Baylor): The Baylor mascot doesn't dance for long, but it's clear that the rhythm and footwork are there. There's a 100 percent chance that if you put on a song he's really into, he would destroy the dance floor.

2. Hook 'Em (Texas): Hook 'Em and SuperFrog are killing it. Hook 'Em starts out by hyping up SuperFrog and then can't contain himself and has to get in on the act. This is beautiful teamwork between the two.

1. SuperFrog (TCU): SuperFrog is getting it. I mean, just crushing the dance floor. Hook 'Em and Raider Red were so happy to watch him work, and when you get the random guy off camera excited and saying "alright Horned Frog," then you know you're killing the game. SuperFrog is the Big 12 dancing champion. Congrats TCU.
