Dominic Breazeale and Izuagbe Ugonoh kicked off Saturday’s action in Birmingham, Alabama with heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder headlining the festivities. But Breazeale and Ugonoh put on one heck of a show ahead of the main event, trading huge shots back and forth through the first four rounds of their bout.

Breazeale scored a knockdown with a huge uppercut in the third round before Ugonoh scored one of his own in the fourth. After Ugonoh looked to be in good shape, Breazeale came out throwing haymakers in the fifth round and knocked Ugonoh out of the ring to finish things quickly.

It was a huge bounce back win for Breazeale, who suffered the first loss of his career last June to Anthony Joshua by way of seventh-round TKO. We’ll see if he gets back into title contention after this win.

As for Ugonoh, it’s a disappointing result and the first loss of his career (17-1, 14 KOs).
