ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Alex King scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half and Army held off Navy 64-62 on Sunday.

King missed two free throws with seven seconds left and Cam Davis hit a 3-pointer at the other end. Army inbounded the ball with two seconds left and ran out the clock.

Thomas Funk added 12 points and Jordan Fox 11 for Army (11-6, 4-2 Patriot League), which has won three straight games at Navy. The Black Knights were just 11 of 20 from the free-throw line.

Army had a 35-23 lead at the break. Navy had just four points through nearly nine minutes to open the game and trailed 20-10 with seven minutes left in the half.

Shawn Anderson took a shot to the face in the first half, requiring four stitches to his nose, but he returned after halftime and scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half for Navy (12-7, 3-3). George Kiernan added 13 points with nine rebounds. Anderson made all 10 of his free throws as the Midshipmen went 20 of 22.

It was Navy's first sellout crowd, of 5,710, since last season's game against Army.
