How to watch Tennessee vs. South Carolina Upstate basketball game
Who's Playing
South Carolina Upstate @ No. 18 Tennessee
Current Records: South Carolina Upstate 2-7; Tennessee 7-2
What to Know
The South Carolina Upstate Spartans will hit the road for the second straight game as they head to Thompson-Boling Arena at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday. They will be seeking to avenge the 80-60 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Dec. 23 of last year.
South Carolina Upstate found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 79-53 punch to the gut against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this past Saturday. Guard Bryson Mozone wasn't much of a difference maker for South Carolina Upstate; Mozone finished with only seven points on 3-for-11 shooting in his 29 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for the #18 Tennessee Volunteers at home against the UNCG Spartans this past Saturday as the squad secured a 76-36 victory. Among those leading the charge for the Volunteers was guard Santiago Vescovi, who had ten points and eight assists.
South Carolina Upstate have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 34 point spread they are up against. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 4-1 against the spread when expected to lose.
Tennessee's win lifted them to 7-2 while South Carolina Upstate's defeat dropped them down to 2-7. We'll see if Tennessee can repeat their recent success or if South Carolina Upstate bounces back and reverse their fortune.
