Jim Calhoun coached the Connecticut Huskies to a 625-243 record and three national championships in 26 seasons. He is on an elite list with John Wooden, Adolph Rupp, Bob Knight and Mike Krzyzewski as the only coaches to win at least three titles.
Calhoun also coached 14 seasons at Northeastern where he compiled a 248-137 mark and made five NCAA tournament appearances. The school has earned only two NCAA berths since he left after the 1985-86 season.
