What you need to know about TCU

Seton Hall might have won eight of its last 10 games in the regular season, but it looked sloppy in a narrow win over Georgetown and a loss to UConn in the Big East Tournament. The Pirates have also covered the spread just twice in their last seven games. TCU was hot down the stretch and has covered the spread in six of its last nine contests.

The Horned Frogs are an outstanding defensive team, ranked No. 24 in KenPom's adjusted efficiency ratings. They are also the No. 1 offensive rebounding team in college basketball. TCU will be able to control the tempo with its slow pace and strong defense on Friday night, which will make life difficult on Seton Hall.

What you need to know about Seton Hall

Seton Hall has been excellent on the defensive end of the court, ranking No. 17 in KenPom's effective field goal percentage ratings. The Pirates are facing a TCU offense that has gone cold on many occasions this season, particularly from beyond the arc. The Horned Frogs are No. 318 in 3-point percentage and No. 325 from the charity stripe.

Seton Hall will also be able to counter TCU's height in the paint, as the Pirates are the fifth-tallest team in the country. They had a great finish to the regular season, winning eight of their final 10 games. Seton Hall has won seven consecutive games as a favorite.
