The Wofford Terriers are 11-3 against the The Citadel Bulldogs since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Wednesday. Wofford and The Citadel will face off in a Southern battle at 7 p.m. ET at McAlister Field House. These two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.

The Terriers strolled past the Western Carolina Catamounts with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the matchup 69-57. Wofford's forward B.J. Mack was one of the most active players for the team, posting a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the VMI Keydets typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday the Bulldogs proved too difficult a challenge. The Citadel had just enough and edged out VMI 83-79. Forward Hayden Brown and guard Tyler Moffe were among the main playmakers for The Citadel as the former had 22 points along with seven boards and the latter shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 16 points, five dimes and five rebounds.

The Terriers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 5.5-point margin of victory. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past four games, so buyers beware.

Wofford is now 15-11 while the Bulldogs sit at 11-13. With back-to-back wins few and far between for both teams -- Wofford is 5-9 after wins, The Citadel 3-7 this year -- a win will be a boon for either squad.
