What to Know

The Louisville Cardinals have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. U of L and the Virginia Cavaliers will face off in an ACC battle at 7 p.m. ET Monday at John Paul Jones Arena. The Cardinals have some work to do to even out the 1-11 series between these two since January of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.

The game between U of L and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this past Saturday was not particularly close, with U of L falling 82-70. Guard Jarrod West (14 points) was the top scorer for U of L.

Meanwhile, Virginia ended up a good deal behind the NC State Wolfpack when they played this past Saturday, losing 77-63. The top scorers for the Cavaliers were guard Armaan Franklin (14 points), forward Jayden Gardner (13 points), and guard Reece Beekman (12 points).

The Cardinals are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 0-2 ATS when expected to lose.
