What to Know
The Tulane Green Wave have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Florida State Seminoles at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Donald L. Tucker Center. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Tulane now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
The Green Wave were close but no cigar on Saturday as they fell 73-70 to the Southern Jaguars. If the result catches you off guard, it should: Tulane was far and away the favorite. Jaylen Forbes wasn't much of a difference maker for Tulane; Forbes finished with 12 points on 3-for-13 shooting and turned the ball over four times in his 32 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, FSU lost to the Florida Gators on the road by a decisive 71-55 margin. Despite the defeat, FSU got a solid performance out of forward Malik Osborne, who had 18 points along with six rebounds.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
