The Santa Clara Broncos have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Santa Clara and the San Diego Toreros will face off in a West Coast battle at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Broncos will be strutting in after a victory while San Diego will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Santa Clara didn't have too much trouble with the Loyola Marymount Lions at home on Thursday as they won 79-60. Santa Clara's success was spearheaded by the efforts of forward Josip Vrankic, who had 13 points in addition to five boards, and guard Carlos Stewart, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, San Diego was expected to have a tough go of it on Thursday, and, well, they did. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 92-62 to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Toreros got double-digit scores from four players: guard Jase Townsend (13), guard Marcellus Earlington (12), guard Joey Calcaterra (11), and guard Wayne McKinney II (10).

The Broncos are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4.5-point margin of victory. They are currently four-for-four against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Santa Clara came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego in the teams' previous meeting last month, sneaking past 78-74. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Clara since the team won't have home-court advantage. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
