Tillie and the Grizzlies agreed Saturday to a two-year, $4 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The sophomore forward started to see regular minutes in late November, and over the past four games, he's averaged 3.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in 22.4 minutes. Tillie registered six points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound, one block and two steals across 19 minutes during Wednesday's 104-96 loss to Dallas.
The 19 minutes were easily a season high for Tillie, whom coach Tayler Jenkins seemed to favor over Xavier Tillman (10 minutes) and Santi Aldama (nine minutes). The decision was likely matchup-based, as Tillie saw just nine combined minutes of action in Memphis' previous two contests.
