Watford went down during Tuesday's blowout loss to the Magic, and he's since been diagnosed with a left adductor strain. The injury is likely to keep the forward sidelined until the middle of December. With Watford out of action, the 76ers are likely to turn to Dominick Barlow and Justin Edwards to help pick up the slack in the frontcourt.

Watford logged 19 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 127-117 loss to the Heat.
The fifth-year forward already has one triple-double this season in a start against the Raptors on Nov. 8, and Watford came within sniffing distance of another as he led the Sixers in assists on the afternoon while finishing second in points and boards. His court time and usage remain inconsistent, however, even with Joel Embiid (knee) and Kelly Oubre (knee) on the shelf. Watford had failed to score in double digits in six straight games coming into Sunday, and he'd posted a goose egg in 14 minutes against the Bucks on Thursday. Until he begins to string solid performances together, Watford will be little more than a cheap DFS option for fantasy purposes.

Watford finished Saturday's 130-120 win over the Raptors with 20 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 17 rebounds, 10 assists and one block over 37 minutes.
Watford was inserted into the 76ers' starting lineup for the first time this season, and he took full advantage of the opportunity. He led all players with career highs in both rebounds and assists en route to the first triple-double of his five-year NBA career, and he finished third on the team in points behind Tyrese Maxey (31) and Joel Embiid (29). Watford's breakout performance Saturday should keep him in the 76ers' starting lineup, at least until Paul George (knee) is cleared to make his 2025-26 debut.

Watford handled a meager 8.9 percent usage rate in the contest and came up empty in the defensive categories, but he finished second to only sixth man Quentin Grimes (39 minutes) in playing time among bench players. Even so, Watford is still likely to see his minutes get cut once the likes of George, Barlow and Jared McCain (thumb) return, and it wouldn't be surprising if Watford was dropped from head coach Nick Nurse's rotation entirely.
