Brice Williams: Waived Saturday
Williams was waived by the Pistons on Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Williams appeared in two preseason games for the Pistons, averaging 1.5 points, 1.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals over 8.6 minutes per contest. The 25-year-old will presumably suit up for the Motor City Cruise of the G League once again in 2026-27.

Pistons' Brice Williams: Signs Exhibit 10 pact
Williams signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pistons on Monday, Eric Woodyard of ESPN reports.
Williams will compete for a spot on Detroit's regular-season roster, and the team also owns his G League rights. He spent the 2025-26 campaign with the Motor City Cruise and will likely return to the Cruise if he's waived by Detroit.

Pistons' Brice Williams: Chips in 15 points Friday
Williams finished Friday's 101-87 Summer League loss to Miami with 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 25 minutes.
Williams didn't take a lot of shots during Friday's contest, but he was efficient enough to finish as the Pistons' second-leading scorer behind Ebuka Okorie (27 points). Williams spent the entire 2025-26 season in the G League with the Motor City Cruise, and he figures to do the same in the upcoming season unless he cracks a NBA team's 15-man roster at the end of training camp.

Pistons' Brice Williams: Leads all scorers in SL loss
Williams closed with 24 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes in Wednesday's 100-88 Summer League loss to the Suns.
Williams found his rhythm offensively, finishing as the game's leading scorer. The Nebraska product's Summer League has been a mixed bag, as he has topped the 20-point mark twice while failing to reach double figures in his other two appearances. Williams spent the 2025-26 campaign with the Motor City Cruise of the G League and has yet to make his regular-season NBA debut.

Pistons' Brice Williams: Signs with Detroit
Williams agreed to an undrafted free-agent contract with the Pistons on Friday, Bryan Kalbrosky of USA Today reports.
Williams elevated his game during the 2024-25 season, averaging 20.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from three over 35 games. The former Nebraska Cornhusker is a proven scorer, though questions about his athleticism could limit his impact at the NBA level.
