Cardale Jones gives it the old college try with 66-yard throw at OSU spring game
Jones, in his second year with the Buffalo Bills, is on track to graduate from Ohio State in May
Ohio State's spring game won't tell us a whole lot about the Buckeyes for 2017, but it did tell us that former quarterback Cardale Jones still has a hell of an arm.
Not that anyone had any reason to believe otherwise for the second-year pro with the Buffalo Bills.
As one of the several former Buckeyes in attendance, Jones launched a 66-yard throw basically flat-footed from the end zone, showing "12 Gauge" is still very much an accurate nickname.
Cardale Jones still has some juice in the ol' 12 gauge, throwing a ball 66 yards while standing flat-footed. Yeah, he won the contest. pic.twitter.com/y4lDCSCa3e

Frankly, it might have been the best throw by an Ohio State quarterback, current or former, for the day.
Speaking of Jones, he's on track to graduate from Ohio State in May. Former Buckeyes offensive coordinator and current Texas coach Tom Herman says he will be in attendance to watch Jones walk while apparently turning away some huge names.
Tom Herman & his wife are flying to Columbus for Cardale Jones graduation from #OhioSt May 7... "It's really cool to see how he's matured."

"Migos & Chance the Rapper were gonna be here (in Austin) on Sunday, the 7th and wanted to meet me. I said 'No, I’m gonna be in Columbus.’
