Charlie Strong met with the judge who publicly called him out during a courtroom hearing, and it looks like the beef has been dismissed.

Strong met with Judge Margaret Taylor at the courthouse on Tuesday and the two talked things out. The meeting was set up by Chief Judge Ron Ficarrotta, who had coffee with Strong and broached the subject of him meeting with Taylor. Strong agreed to do it and the two spoke for about 10 minutes in Ficarrotta's chambers.

"It was a very positive conversation," Ficarrotta said of the meeting. "I think Coach Strong was able to educate Judge Taylor on some of the issues. It went very well."

The problem between Taylor and Strong began during a pretrial hearing for South Florida defensive end LaDarrius Jackson. Taylor, a USF alum, told Jackson during the hearing that she was ashamed of her degree, and then questioned whether or not Charlie Strong had control over his team, as Jackson was the second USF player to be arrested in recent months.

The video went viral, and drew a response from Strong in which he said he was "shocked and saddened at the recent arrest of a member of our team. I am disappointed that the actions of two players over the last two months have harmed the reputation of our program, of our wonderful university and of my character."

Taylor would then recuse herself from the case.

On Wednesday, Jackson was arrested on charges of sexual assault and false imprisonment for the second time. The new charges led to his dismissal from the team.
