The Jaguars waived Johnson (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson spent all of his rookie season on injured reserve and will now hit the open market after failing his physical. The 2022 undrafted free agent will now try to catch on with another team and can potentially add value both on offense and as a returner.

Johnson (undisclosed) reverted to the Jaguars' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Johnson was waived with an undisclosed injury as part of Jacksonville's final roster cuts Tuesday, and he will now head to IR after going unclaimed. As a result, the first-year wideout will likely be forced to miss the entirety of the 2022 regular season, barring an injury settlement with the team.
