Ed Lee: Dropped by Pats
Lee has been waived by the Patriots, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Lee signed with New England as an undrafted free agent in June. He recorded 908 yards on 56 receptions to go along with six touchdowns during his final collegiate season at Rhode Island, which led to second-team All-CAA honors. The rookie was ultimately unable to make enough of an impression at training camp, so he will have to look for an opportunity elsewhere.

Patriots' Ed Lee: Signs with New England as UDFA
The Patriots signed Lee as an undrafted free agent Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Lee caught 56 passes for 908 yards and five touchdowns during his final campaign at Rhode Island, earning him second-team All-CAA honors. He also has experience as a punt returner and will likely have to make an impact on special teams to stick around the Patriots' organization long term.
