The Jaguars waived McDaniel on Monday, John Shipley of SI.comreports.
The undrafted free agent out of North Carolina Central was always a long shot to make the initial 53-man roster, and now he'll have to look for another opportunity elsewhere. In the meantime, his departure should create an increase in practice reps for fellow rookie UDFAs Kevin Austin, Lujuan Winningham and Willie Johnson.
