Cowboys' Shavon Revel: Records six tackles in win
Revel finished with six tackles (two solo) in Thursday's 31-28 win over the Chiefs.
The cornerback also played on 95 percent of the defensive snaps with Caelen Carson out due to a hamstring injury. Revel, a third-round pick in the draft, missed Dallas' first nine games as he recovered from a torn ACL suffered in his final collegiate season at East Carolina, but he has now played in the last three games and has seen his snap count increase in each contest.

Cowboys' Shavon Revel: Practices in full
Revel (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegramreports.
The rookie third-round pick could make his NFL debut against the Raiders on Monday if he can continue practicing Friday and Saturday. If Revel is suits up for the primetime clash, he could rotate in for snaps alongside Kaiir Elam.

The Cowboys activated Revel (knee) from injured reserve Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Now that the rookie third-rounder has been activated from IR, he is eligible to make his NFL debut against the Raiders on Monday. Revel was a limited participant in practice during Week 9 prep, and with additional rest courtesy of the Cowboys' Week 10 bye, he'll look to practice in full during the coming week. Cowboys' Shavon Revel: On track for Week 11 return
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters Tuesday that Revel (knee) is "trending" toward making his 2025 debut in the Cowboys' Week 11 road tilt against the Raiders on Monday, Nov. 17, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
The rookie third-rounder is inching closer to making his NFL debut. Revel started the regular season on the reserve/non-football injured list while recovering from a torn ACL that he sustained during his final collegiate season at East Carolina in September of 2024. Revel was limited in practice during Week 9 prep, and with the Cowboys on the bye Week 10, he'll have additional time to progress in his recovery and be available for Week 11 in Las Vegas.

Revel (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Cardinals, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
It was previously reported that Revel is targeting Week 11 for his NFL debut. That is now officially his next chance to return from a torn ACL, as he was ruled out for Monday's game after logging three consecutive limited practices during the week.

Executive vice president Stephen Jones said Friday that Revel (knee) is expected to return from the reserve/non-football injury list ahead of the Cowboys' Week 11 clash against the Raiders on Monday, Nov. 17, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Revel has been limited in practice since he was designated to return from the NFI list Oct. 22. He won't be activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, but with the Cowboys on a bye Week 10, the rookie third-rounder will have additional time to progress in his rehab and be available for Week 11. Revel's return would bolster a Cowboys secondary that will be without starting corner Trevon Diggs (knee) until at least Week 13 against the Chiefs on Thursday, Nov. 27.

Revel tore his ACL in September of 2024 and has yet to play for the Cowboys this season, but it now appears he's nearing a return. The 2025 third-round pick from East Carolina recorded 54 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and 13 passes defended, with one interception, over 12 games during his last full collegiate season (2023). He now has 21 days to be added to Dallas' active roster and will likely operate as a depth piece in the secondary once fully healthy.

The Cowboys placed Revel (ACL) on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday.
Revel will be required to miss the first four games of the regular season, at least, as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL suffered last September during his final collegiate season at East Carolina. Once healthy, the rookie third-round pick is expected to compete for a significant role in the Cowboys' secondary, but he'll have to wait until after Week 4 at the earliest to resume practicing.
