Wilk was released Thursday by the Twins.
The 29-year-old was designated for assignment last week after a spot start in which he was shelled for six runs over 3.1 innings, and will look to land a minor-league deal elsewhere. Wilk has a 9.00 ERA and 2.36 WHIP in 14 innings across his stints with the Mets and Twins this season.
