Angels' James Hoyt: Recalled by Angels

Hoyt was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Hoyt was sent down Wednesday, but he'll return to the major-league bullpen following a brief stay at Triple-A Salt Lake. The right-hander has posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.80 WHIP in 6.2 innings across seven appearances with the Angels this year, but he hasn't made a big-league appearance since July 30.
