Angels' Jarrett Parker: Removed from 40-man roster

Parker was designated for assignment by the Angels on Saturday.

Parker joined the Angels on July 3 and went without a hit in 15 plate appearances. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the 30-year-old could return to Triple-A Salt Lake, where he had a .296/.424/.604 slash line with 19 homers prior to receiving the promotion.
