Athletics' Mickey McDonald: Sent down Friday

McDonald was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.

McDonald appeared in four games during his time in Oakland, and he went 0-for-4 with two walks and three strikeouts. He should see more playing time with the minor-league club.
