Blue Jays' Dan Schlereth: Signs minors deal with Blue Jays

Schlereth signed a minor league deal with the Blue Jays on Monday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.

Schlereth made appearances in just three games for Triple-A Iowa of the Cubs organization last season before being released, but it appears the Blue Jays will give him another shot. He'll likely begin the season in Triple-A again this season, but could be a candidate for recall should some any bullpen arms get injured.
