McKenry signed a minor league deal with the Braves on Saturday, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan in Atlanta reports.
McKenry was DFA'd by the Cardinals earlier in the week and elected free agency after passing through waivers unclaimed Friday. The 31-year-old had been hitting well at Triple-A, slashing .301/.424/.569 in 37 games, and he'll now head to the same level within the Braves organization in the hopes of working his way back up to the big league club.
