Cardinals' Juniel Querecuto: Selected to MLB roster

St. Louis selected Querecuto's contract from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

Querecuto will provide infield depth for the Cardinals while Nolan Gorman spends at least the next 10 days on the injured list with a right hamstring strain. Querecuto, 30, hasn't appeared in a major-league game since 2016.
