Chris Johnson: Released by White Sox

Johnson was released by the White Sox on Thursday, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.

Johnson did what he could to stick around this spring, hitting .308 with an on-base percentage of .400. He'll look to latch on with a new team on a minor-league deal.
