Greene elected free agency after being outrighted to Triple-A by Baltimore on Friday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Greene was removed from the 40-man roster Wednesday but refused the outright assignment to the minors and is now free to sign elsewhere. The right-hander appeared in 24 games between the Orioles and Dodgers in 2021 and had a 7.11 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB in 25.1 innings.
