Cristofer Ogando: Moves on from Tampa Bay

Ogando elected free agency Tuesday.

Ogando's decision to head to the open market doesn't come as a major surprise after the Rays booted him off their 40-man roster two weeks ago. The 28-year-old right-hander made his big-league debut with Tampa Bay in July and made three total appearances out of the bullpen, logging a 4.15 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 4.1 innings.
