Anderson tossed a 50-pitch bullpen session Thursday but still has a way to go before potentially joining the Dodgers. Even when healthy, it's unclear what role Anderson would have with the team given Los Angeles' depth in the starting rotation. The veteran hurler is hoping to return in mid-August, but a clearer timetable should form as he closes in on a return.
