Dodgers' Carl Crawford: Out of lineup Friday

Crawford is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cardinals.

Trayce Thompson will get the start in left field as Crawford sits for a second straight day, with both absences coming against opposing right-handed starters. There has been no word of an injury setback for Crawford, but he's done little of note with the bat this season, and unless he picks it up in a major way, left field will likely continue to be a revolving door for Los Angeles.
