Giants' Landen Roupp: Jumps to Double-A

The Giants promoted Roupp from High-A Eugene to Double-A Richmond on Thursday.

Roupp, a 12th-round pick in last summer's First-Year Player Draft, will be on the move for the second time this season after beginning his professional career at Single-A San Jose. He was unfazed by the late-June move up to Eugene, as he turned in a microscopic 1.67 ERA and 0.87 WHIP to go with a 52:9 K:BB in 32.1 innings over his seven outings in the Northwest League.
