Heath Fillmyer: Cut loose by Arizona

The Diamondbacks released Fillmyer on Monday.

Fillmyer didn't appear in any games for the Diamondbacks in spring training and apparently didn't impress the coaching staff enough during his time at camp to warrant consideration for a spot on the Triple-A Reno roster. He's now free to pursue opportunities with other organizations.
