Miller (knee) was activated from the 10-day DL prior to Thursday's game against the Royals.
In an expected move, the Indians add Miller to the active roster following a three-week absence due to patellar tendinitis. The left-hander was able to toss a couple simulated games over the past week, and will ease back into his relief role for the Kansas City series this weekend.
