Indians' Joseph Colon: Sent down to Triple-A

Colon was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Colon was recalled Wednesday to provide bullpen depth but did not make an appearance during the short stint with the club. His roster spot was needed to make room for Sunday's starter, Mike Clevinger.
