Indians' Xzavion Curry: Bumped up to Double-A

Curry was promoted from High-A Lake County to Double-A Akron on Monday.

it's the second promotion of the year for Curry, who has excelled in the lower levels of the minor-leagues. He has a 2.23 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 118:16 K:BB across 93 innings while posting an 8-2 record in 18 starts between Lake County and Low-A Lynchburg. He'll get a taste of Double-A to close out this season, and he'll presumably begin 2022 at that level.
