Jaime Arias: Released by Cleveland

The Guardians released Arias on Tuesday.

Arias has bounced between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus this season, but after surrendering 20 runs in 21.2 innings with the latter affiliate, Arias will hit the open market. Arias had been part of the Guardians organization since 2021.
