Mariners' Dan Schlereth: Signs minor-league deal

The Mariners signed Schlereth to a minor-league contract Saturday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Schlereth joined the independent Atlantic League in early May, and didn't have to wait long before making his way back to a major-league organization. The 32-year-old is likely headed to Triple-A Tacoma to serve as organizational pitching depth.
