Mariners' Erick Mejia: Absent for start of camp

Mejia has yet to report to Mariners camp as of Monday due to visa issues, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

In addition to Mejia, visa issues have also prevented outfield prospect Alberto Rodriguez and reliever Andres Munoz from arriving for the start of camp. Mejia is scheduled to attend camp as a non-roster invitee, but he's unlikely to open the season with the big club and is instead expected to fill a utility role at Triple-A Tacoma.
