Clevenger underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his fractured right hand, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Clevenger suffered a fractured third metacarpal bone in his hand Wednesday when he was struck by a foul tip, and he had to have a metal plate and six screws inserted into the hand Friday. Reports from earlier in the week suggested Clevenger would be out "at least a month." Mike Zunino has taken over as the backup catcher in Seattle.
