Sanchez is not in Saturday's lineup against the Astros, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
He will head to the bench with lefty Framber Valdez on the hill for Houston. Garrett Cooper was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday, so Sanchez should at least play against all righties in the short term and he may get the odd start against lefties as well.
