Panik will not travel back to Miami for the team's final series of the season, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports
Panik's wife is due to give birth, so he will stay in New York to be with her and the rest of his family. He has not yet been formally placed on the paternity list, though that move will presumably come within the next couple of days. Panik concludes the season with a .208/.266/.284 line with three home runs, 17 runs scored and 18 RBI across 257 plate appearances.
