Mets' Corey Oswalt: Rehabbing in Florida

Oswalt (knee) made his third rehab appearance with Low-A St. Lucie on Sunday, tossing two scoreless innings while allowing no hits and issuing one walk.

Oswalt looks ready to return from the 60-day injured list, but it's unclear if the Mets plan on activating him before season's end. Even with the active roster having expanded to 28 men in September, the Mets may not be eager to make a corresponding 40-man roster move to clear a spot for a low-leverage reliever like Oswalt.
