The Mets placed Walker on the 15-day injured list Monday, retroactive to Aug. 13, with a right oblique strain, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.
Walker gave up two solo homers while recording only two outs in his last appearance Saturday versus Atlanta as his season ERA climbed to 8.10. He'll be sidelined for at least the next couple of weeks.
