Nick Allgeyer: Let go by Houston

Allgeyer was released by the Astros on Monday, Kenny Van Doren of Bally Sports Midwest reports.

Allgeyer was acquired from the Phillies in May but posted a 6.62 ERA in 69.1 innings for Triple-A Sugar Land. The 27-year-old made one appearance in the majors back in 2021 with the Blue Jays.
