Orioles' Andrew Faulkner: Assigned to Triple-A

Faulkner cleared waivers and was assigned to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday, Rich Dubroff of PressBoxonline.com reports.

Faulkner only pitched at the Triple-A level this season. Over 34 games (38.2 innings) with Norfolk he posted a 2.79 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. If he makes his way up to the big club, the southpaw would likely be used in low-leverage situations.
