Faulkner recently joined Triple-A Norfolk, but he's not yet a consideration for a promotion to the majors, Rich Dubroff of PressBoxOnline.com reports.
After beginning the campaign working out with Low-A Delmarva, Faulkner jumped aboard with the Tides early last week. Faulkner's now managed four scoreless outings in five appearances for Norfolk, although in his fifth game the left-hander surrendered three runs while recording a single out, giving him an unattractive 6.23 ERA in the early going. Faulkner has 20 games of MLB experience (all with Texas), and could make his Orioles debut in 2017 if the big-league club develops a need for a southpaw specialist.
