Orioles' Seth Smith: On bench versus lefty

Smith is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

As usual, Smith will get the day off with a southpaw (CC Sabathia) on the mound for the opposition. His platoon mate, Joey Rickard, will start in right field in his stead.
