Phillies' Corey Oswalt: Sent to Philadelphia

Oswalt was traded from the Giants to the Phillies on Sunday in exchange for cash considerations.

Oswalt posted a 3.48 ERA in a small sample of 10.1 innings for the Mets last season, though that was only good enough to reduce his career ERA to 5.89. He's been poor in 12.2 frames for Triple-A Sacramento this year, struggling to a 7.11 ERA.
